Hi folks! It's been a couple of weeks but I wanted to share our Easter pics. We were in Williamsburg Easter weekend, so we actually took the kids to hunt Easter eggs on Easter morning. This felt a little weird because we don't usually do secular stuff like that on Sundays, but I didn't feel bad about it either. I mean, we're out of town, and general conference doesn't start until noon out here. So it was something to do. Lizzy-Kate fell in immediate romantic love with the Easter bunny. She is a very jealous lover too, she just couldn't stand anyone else to be around him.

See, she was inserting herself in strangers' photos. I'm sure years from now they will ask themselves, who is this baby in our picture?

Now, rewind the calandar back one week. Bruce and Allison, some old friends, always give the best Easter party/hunt. I couldn't make it because I had to take Mason to baseball practice, so Matt took the younger three. There's always lots of good food, candy, and Bruce can give everyone lanscape envy as we admire what he's done lately in his yard.
Here are the three kids eating lunch. Cute.

I have to share some sewing feelings/frustrations I have with the girls' outfits. Lucy is actually wearing hers for the third (yes 3rd) Easter in a row. Hers is more of a top, hence the jeans. Well, to coordinate with the denim I made Lizzy-Kate's with little jeans and a denim collar. I should just give up with collars. They never seem to go right. Lizzy's kept flipping up. I even did the tip of cutting the bottom collar slightly smaller than the top, it's supposed to pull the collar downward, but as you can see it didn't work. And Matt doesn't care like I do, so he won't keep fixing it. He just snaps pic after pic with the collar up like this. So another lesson I learned from these outfits is if you don't LOVE the fabric, don't make stuff out of it. My mom gave me this fabric, bless her, so it was free. But I never really liked it. The colors are not even really Easter-y. I want to see plenty of pink, purple, blue, and lots of bunnies and chicks or something. I meant to pick up some this year, you can get a good deal right before Easter, but now it's probably gone and I'll just have to pay up next year. I don't care though, it'll be worth it to love it.

Lizzy-Kate is getting to be such a little clown! She has the funniest expressions and is so animated and sweet. These next two pics show a couple of funny faces. This one is kind of silly.

This one is a little coy.

Here she is with her basket. Would have been a great pic except, again, the collar situation.

Samuel is really coming into his own lately as well. He is so cute to look out for Lizzy.

Cute little Samuel, could you just kiss that face?
