I am thankful that the kids go to public school, so they occasionally get their pictures done. Until this last summer (when Scott Hancock did the awesome photos you see on the right of the blog), I think it had been 5 years since I had a single photo taken at an indoor studio, by my own accord. I know I'm not supposed to scan pictures, but since I don't really think anyone ever looks at my blog, I'm pretty sure I'm safe sharing them here. I had forgotten all about picture day, and I would have had Samuel wear something else, but in years future I think it will be cute to have him actually wearing his school shirt in his photo.
Mason is more on top of things and picked out the collared shirt himself. Yes, he really wears his hair like that all the time. Someday he will learn to manage his McDreamy-like thick wavy hair, but until then, I don't mind him wearing it how he wants.

Anyway, I just love my handsome sons, they are really amazing boys and they honestly make my job as a mom a lot easier by just being so good to the core. They don't have perfect behavior, but they both have such amazing hearts and they have so much love and sweetness. So, somewhere out there there are two little girls who will someday win my boys' hearts, and I hope they'll know how lucky they are!

They are handsome! Also, your birthday parties are exactly my speed, and my kids always have fun, so why stress yourself out like crazy?
ReplyDeleteSuch handsome boys!! You have no idea how badly I would love to come out there to see you guys. I was just looking at all of your pics and saw the ones when Danny came out there. I was so jealous! I miss you guys so much! I hope that someday soon we will get back out there! By the way, I feel the same way about my blog. I think I'm the only one that looks at it. I have to remind Danny to look at it. :) Oh well, it's fun for me to do. It makes me feel like I'm keeping up on my scrapbooking.... love you!
ReplyDeleteWow, they definitely come from the Shill family. They are darling, as are the girls. Viva the Shill's.
