So I've been sewing a lot lately, when I get some delicious fabrics I can't even sleep at night thinking about what I want to make with them, so here's a couple of my latest creations. I figured we can never have enough sundresses, right? Nice and cool, comfy, and the girls can wear them any day of the week. They did wear them to church yesterday, and I should have taken pictures right away, this was after a long day, dinner, and naps. Yet they still look good. This first one I took right when I finished it. I am super proud of it...I almost wanted to put it away and save it for the State Fair. You should see the back zipper, it lines up perfectly. Amazing!

You can also see Lucy's cute little haircut. I love it, so does everyone else who sees her. The cucumbers are from the garden.

Lizzy's messy little face...I didn't realize it was that bad until I saw the picture. I wanted to get a closeup of the neckline. I did some elastic shirring and added a little binding to the neck before adding elastic. I wasn't totally pleased, especially with the binding and even less with the little stains on the front from dinner., but here you have it.

The neck came off looking square, which its not intended to, I'm thinking maybe I pulled the elastic a little too tight.

What can I say, sewing for such cute girls is so rewarding!
LOVE them! And yes, her haircut is adorable! It suits her so well.
