Christmas Eve....

OK, so I'm a little late, but since I still have my festive December layout, I'll post a few pics of Christmas Eve, then a few of Christmas morning. Every Christmas Eve, Mama Shill spends all day cooking for us, the missionaries, and whoever else she feels like inviting. Every year it ends up being quite a dinner, tons of food, friends, and fun. This year was no different. This first picture makes me laugh. It's after dinner and I'm eating Mom's delicious pie. I don't know why I have that look on my face, probably figuring out how much pie a person can eat before really becoming sick. Here's Samuel and Lucy posing by the Christmas tree, being silly like always. I made Lucy's shirt, isn't it cute? I finished the buttonholes on Christmas Eve day, so it's not like she got to wear it a lot. Oh well.
Lucy set the table herself, I thought she did a great job.
This is called Lizzy times Two. Yes, this is Liz in our ward, feeding chocolate pie to Lizzy. Cute!
Cute Lizzy enjoying a homemade roll. I don't know why all our pictures turned out dark and yucky, but the kids are cute anyway.
Mom has never really liked the idea of having a "kids table" but that's the way it ended up, per the kids' request. They had so much fun this way, and so did the grown ups.

  1. I do love the pie picture. I can answer the "how much pie" question. It's a lot. At least for me.

It was so much fun to see you- I hope it happens again soon!
